Our second Erasmus+ day in Udine, on Monday, took place at my host Michela's school (Istituto Zanon) and it started with an ice-breaking session. We played a bingo game with personal questions, which helped us talk to each other and learn fun facts. After that, we did short speed-dating rounds, changing partners every few minutes, which made it easier to connect and practice English.
There were 11 Italian students, 6 Hungarian students, and 6 French students, and everyone stayed with Italian host families. Later, each country presented their school and all students introduced themselves. It was very interesting to learn about different cultures. We then had an hour lunch break and during that the group became closer.
In the afternoon, still at Michela's school, we couldn't visit Udine because of rain. Instead, an expert taught us how to take photos and videos, since we are creating a short film this week.
After school, another Hungarian girl, Zita, came over with her host Giulia. Later we all hung out at Michela's family tavern. We played Wii, taught them Hungarian words, and learned traditional Italian kid games. There was also a family program for the others in the evening. It was a fun and relaxing end to the day.
