3. nap
Today we went to school and
attended 6 lessons. We started with a maths class which we found interesting.
The topic of today was quadratic equations which was quite well explained and
derived by the teacher, so that we could actually understand what was happening
during the lesson. The next lesson was PE, which was
held in an outdoor, covered gym. They started the lesson with a 3-minute
planking exercise and then they could choose what sport they wanted to play.
I chose to play basketball with the boys while most of the girls chose to
play volleyball. It was a fun lesson, we enjoyed playing with the students we
just have met. Next up, we had an English class
in which we delivered our presentations on Hungary, Budapest and our school.
I think most among us felt a bit nervous before, however, in the end it
turned out that we did totally well and there was nothing to be afraid of. Unfortunately, we couldn't go out
during the lunch break since it was raining heavily, but we could spend the
time talking and playing with our "temporary" classmates. After the break we probably had
the most enjoyable lesson of the day, as the French teacher being the kindest
and most attentive of all, offered us to listen to some well-known Spanish
songs and also let us show some Hungarian ones. In the end, we danced for
Makarena, which was great fun thus the kids from the bordering class came
over to see what was happening. For the fifth lesson we had moral
education/ ethics class where we helped the students draw posters for women's
day. We were astonished by how creative and skillful they were. Our last
lesson was literature. We spent all the afternoon
together with all the students in the exchange program. We went to the town
centre and had dinner together at a tapas restaurant. Meanwhile others had
delicious lunch together with their host families. In my opinion it has been the best
day of our stay in Malaga so far.
