negyedik nap
On the morning of November 14th, we woke up, had a sweet breakfast with coffee, then got in the car and headed to the engineering Faculty of Cagliari university in Sardinia. After a short wait the gates opened, and a huge crowd streamed onto the campus. We attended several fascinating lectures and demonstrations, including sessions on renewable energy and food engineering. Later, we relaxed in the university garden, enjoying the birdsong beneath the tall trees, and talked with a few Italian students about their plans and the lectures they liked most. Afterwards, we went with our Italian partners to a beautiful park on a hill overlooking the sea, where we sat on the grass, soaked up the sunshine, and ate our lunch. Our next activity was a treasure hunt that led us through many remarkable places, including the cathedral, ancient houses with typical local decorations, the Elephant Tower, bastions, and several cosy cafés. We even passed the government building, which was closed for the siesta. The route allowed us to explore the city in a playful yet immersive way, discovering new corners at every step. After finishing the program, we returned home to get changed, then headed back to Cagliari for some sightseeing and souvenir shopping before going to bed pleasantly tired.
