Here you can read a small chapter of our insane experiences gained in Málaga. Our alarms went off precisely at 7 o' clock and we immediately started our morning routine containing breakfast combined with making sandwiches for lunch. Shortly after, the whole group was ready to leave the accommodation to take bus line one to reach the port. We would like to highlight that we had arrived earlier to the coach station so a short walk was added to the programme. After meeting our guide the coach took us to El Caminito del Rey via a typical Andalusian white village. El Caminito del Rey, often referred to as one of Spain's most exhilarating hikes, is more than just a trail, it's an immersion into a world of natural beauty and history. With a perfect location, south from Málaga, it is a popular but also dangerous hike way. Tourists consider it as a thrilling destination for adventurers and nature lovers. Historically, El Caminito del Rey was built in the early 20th century as a means for workers to cross between two hydroelectric plants. Its name, which means "The King's Little Pathway," comes from an official visit by King Alfonso XIII, who walked the path during its inauguration in 1921. Now we would like to convey the feelings and experiences that I am fairly sure that became unforgettable. The 0 th step to start the hike is to start your walk is putting on the mandatory safety equiptments. We started the journey on a trail beginning with a wooden boardwalk clinging to the cliffside, and it wasn't long before the true scale of the canyon revealed itself. As I continued, the scenery shifted constantly. One moment I was walking along the cliffs, the next I was in a more wooded area, surrounded by the sound of birds and the rustling of leaves. But the most exhilarating part of the hike had to be the famous hanging bridge. Suspended over a deeravine, it felt like I was walking in the air. I stopped halfway across, just to take some nice and sharp images, and the sense the vastness that's hard to describe. It was breathtaking in every sense of the word. My favourite part was seeing the fairy tale like canyon railway's traffic. I think the pictures speak for themselves. The mesmerizing hike took around three hours but felt like a second. Getting on the coach we had a mixture of feelings: The scenario we had just seen was really impressive. However, we only had half a day to spend in this fascinating city. The last day was the day that nobody had been waiting for. Everything went as it was planned. We had spent a lot of time packing for the flight before the transfer bus arrived. Flying home after an unforgettable week, I felt a bittersweet mix of emotions. As the plane ascended, I watched the landscape of Spain slowly disappear beneath the clouds, reflecting on the incredible experiences from the trip. I hope I will have the chance to return to Málaga.
