5. nap
We started the day with a few classes in school, including Art, an Italian literature class, and a PE class during which some of us got to dress up in traditional folk clothes and learned some traditional Sardinian dances. We also performed a folk dance from our own country to share our culture with the Italian students. After school, we went into town and had some food. Then, we took part in a short quiz about Cagliari, which involved walking around the city and taking pictures at certain locations. Later in the afternoon, we visited the Archaeological Museum of Sardinia, where we got to see historical artifacts discovered on the island. During the day, we also worked on a task where we had to mention significant historical figures in either Russian or Italian—such as Alexander Pushkin, Leonardo da Vinci, and Catherine the Great—which helped us connect language learning with cultural and historical knowledge. After all these activities, we had some free time to hang out with the exchange students in town before heading home.
