3. nap
On Tuesday each nationality started the day off with an overview on the previous day at 9:30. The three groups of mixed students proceeded with the project work until 11:00. From eleven the city tour was led by the Estonian coordinator who gave insight into Tartu's history as he is a history teacher. We visited beautiful sights around the city like Jaani Kirik, the oldest church in Tartu; the main building of Tartu university and Toome Hill. Back at the school we played pétanque in the pétanque hall where the school's P.E. teacher explained the rules to us. We had lunch at 13:15 in the school canteen. After lunch the working groups had about an hour to work on the project before the mandala workshop. The workshop was hosted by one of the school's students who after a short introduction gave us some mandalas to colour in or blank paper to create our own. After this relaxing experience both the Belgian and Hungarian groups had to share their presentations about their country and school not just to the students and teachers included in the program, but also to some other students. After both parties concluded their presentation, we were free to go home to our hosts where we each had dinner and then went to a sauna and had an authentic Estonian experience.
