We met at Ferenc Liszt International Airport (Ferihegy) at 3:10. After arriving, we completed all the necessary security procedures and boarding formalities. Everything went smoothly, and soon we were on the plane, excited about our journey.
After the flight, we arrived in Málaga, where our Spanish exchange students were waiting for us at the airport. They warmly welcomed us and introduced us to their parents, which gave us our first insight into the daily life of a Spanish family. It was interesting to see the differences and similarities between our cultures.
Later, they took us to their traditional Catholic school. We were given a guided tour of the building and learned many interesting things about their school life and traditions.
One surprising fact was that they build boats by hand, which they use during the summer. It was fascinating to see how much effort and teamwork goes into this activity.
At lunchtime, we went to Domino's Pizza to eat together, which was a fun and relaxed experience. In the afternoon, we spent about two hours playing volleyball with them, which helped us bond even more and enjoy the day together.
Overall, it was an unforgettable and exciting first day in Spain.
